Summer Jobs - ID Tech Camps

How would you like to spend the summer months working as a summer camp counselor for the world's #1 summer technology camp? ID Tech Camps has been offering fun and educational technology programs since the late 1990's and it's participation numbers are well over 100,000 and growing.

Summer Camp jobs with ID Tech camps give you the opportunity to work in a fun and dynamic environment helping children develop all kinds of exciting technology skills, including coding, game building, animation and video production.

Currently ID Tech summer jobs are offered in over 20 different states during the summer months at the various university campuses that host ID Tech camps. programs currently consist of week long programs for children aged 7 - 17 and two week long intensive programs for teenagers aged 13 - 18. Camp staff are required to be available throughout the summer months and will receive a generous compensation package which includes, pay, accommodation, meals and other perks.

ID Tech Summer Camp Jobs

There are various jobs offered by ID Tech camps and each position is crucial in ensuring camps function properly and that each participants has an enjoyable time while on their camp. Positions offer at summer camps include:

Camp Directors - The camp director is responsible for overlooking each camp and ensuring all participants have a fun and enjoyable experience while at the camp. They will coordinate all other staff members, deal with any issues that may come up and communicate with the ID Tech Camp head office to report how each camp is progressing. Camp directors must be at least 25 years old, have sound computer skills, and also have great communication and organizational skills. A background in management is also a bonus!

Assistant Camp Director - Working as the camp directors assistant, the person who fills this role needs to be an energetic person who works well as part of a team. The assistant will be hands on dealing with any issues or concerns which are brought up by other staff members or camp participants. The Assistant camp director will arrange staff meetings and overlook the planning of daily activities to ensure each day of camp runs smoothly.

Lead Instructor - The lead instructor must is someone who can act as a great role model and mentor for all participants. Having a background in technology and understanding at least two of the technology areas offered is important. The lead instructor will work closely with the camp directors to ensure all lesson plans are properly prepared and that all participants are learning the skills correctly. Lead instructors will also overlook all regular instructors and ensure the camp curriculum is being delivered correctly.

Instructor - As an instructor you will be responsible for instructing small groups of campers. You will lead them in various fun activities and ensure all learning material is delivered correctly to ensure participants get the most out of their camp experience. You must be a great communicator, enjoy working with children and have a lot of energy and a passion for technology!
